Qualitative research exploring barriers and facilitators to maternal mental health service access for women experiencing disadvantage in the North East of England. Involved interviews and focus groups with women from disadvantaged backgrounds and non-statutory service providers. Findings informed discussions on how statutory services can better reach underserved women.
A mixed-methods evaluation assessing the effectiveness of community education campaigns designed to build children's health knowledge, confidence, and community engagement. Combined interviews and focus groups with children, parents, and community leaders with a review of campaign materials and programme data. Findings identified what was working well, surfaced internal gaps in delivery and reach, and provided actionable recommendations to strengthen programme effectiveness and demonstrate impact to funders and community stakeholders.
