Designing Accessible Maternal Mental Health Services: The MaMS Study

NIHR ARC applied health research

Applied health research, conducted with NIHR ARC North East and North Cumbria, exploring how maternal mental health services can be designed to be more accessible to women from underserved and minoritised backgrounds. Combined qualitative interviews and stakeholder engagement with service users, clinicians, and community organisations to identify barriers to access and surface design principles for more inclusive perinatal mental health provision.

Qualitative Research Support for the RAPIDE Project

EU Horizon Europe consortium

Qualitative research contribution to RAPIDE, an EU-funded Horizon Europe project developing tools to build resilience in healthcare provision during cross-border health emergencies. Work included qualitative study design, stakeholder engagement, and knowledge-sharing activities across the international consortium to inform how the project's tools and dashboards can be designed around the needs of frontline healthcare providers and patients.
